DIY Hallway Renovation (Before&After with photos)

 

Our Hallway Renovation..

ERE! I am so happy to be showing you this hallway Renovation! We wasn't going to be doing this room this quickly however since the living room was done and the kitchen we just wanted the downstairs to be completed. I am so glad we did!

How The Hallway Looked BEFORE when we moved in...

The Hallway didn't look very nice at all when we moved in, The carpet was super old and didn't look very nice! the wall paper was chip wood and this was so hard to get off! we also had this massive storage heater that looked so bad and wasn't in use. The carpet that you can't see on the stairs was green and we just hated it! I managed the clean the front door and it came up really nice!

How everting looked DURING the renovation...

It looked so bad! we had a rewire so that's why the hole in the halls. The storage heater was taking away, the carpet ripped up and under that was tiles! the wallpaper was taking over and we painted! This didn't take us to many days to do but it was hard work.

How everything looked AFTER renovating....

This is the after. we pretty much changed the whole room. The flooring is from B&Q and it starts in the hallway and goes into the kitchen! I love this floor it looks like tiles but its not! it was super easy to install and we love it! At the door we have ruff carpet squares and they where only £2 each and they are so easy to clean! we didn't want any mug or anything getting onto the floor so having the carpet at the door its so easy for people to make them messy and not the flooring!

We are so happy with how it all turned out! the wallpaper was from amazing and its self sticky! so you take it off the backing and put it straight onto the wall!!! this saved sooooo much time! and we just love it! it was a little pricy at £15 a roll and we ended up needing 4 however we can not wall paper and we don't have the patience for it so this was so much better for us. Also if I ever change my mind I can just rip it off very quickly. Its a little hard to line up and its not perfect but who's gonna moan... ( maybe some people but hay we are happy )

How much did this RENOVATION Cost?...

If you would like a full price this of this renovation let me know I will do a post about all the price! However it honestly didn't cost that much and everything was on a budget! Apart from the flooring as we knew we wont be changing it for a least 5 years! most of the décor was from Poundshop!

The House Hub....

This house hub/ iPad does everything! We can view the house and outdoor cameras, we can answer the door camera with it, we can control our heating, go onto Hello fresh and sort out our meals, control and look at our dogs flea treatment with itch, check our calendar. We used a Table that I had sitting in my bedside table that I didn't use anymore!! so this was kind of free (however past me paid) but I am so happy I got this item!! it does everything and its so handy! this is the best thing about the hallway.
