Easy Ways To Travel Around Amsterdam For Cheap

Hello my lovelies i hope you are all having a great week or weekend. In this post I am going to let you know how you can travel to Amsterdam for under £150pp. So in December me and my husband travelled to Amsterdam for the weekend. We had such an amazing trip and we saw so much. The best part about this trip is we travelled super cheap.

So how did we do it ?

we booked the flights with Easyjet as most of the time they are the cheapest. We only paid £50 each for the flights there and back. This included the flights the hand luggage  and picking where we sat. I personally think this is amazing.

we decided rather than pay over £500 to stay in the centre pf Amsterdam we would stay near the airport and we only paid £70 for the nights. Yes! only £70. Our stay was amazing and the room we had had everything you needed. The other great thing was that this hotel came with a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. Yes! free!! this also saved us money on transfers.

So getting into the centre of Amsterdam is also super easy to do. The train stations from the Airport to the centre is in the airport. We paid £20 each for a two day ticket from the airport to the centre. The train station is super easy to get around as well.

so we just walked and to be fair most things are very close to each other. we spend the whole day Saturday walking around the centre, taking in Amsterdam beauty. The best things about this is that walking is free. We walked around Saturday taking loads of photos and we only took 30Euros with us. Most people said we are made and this wouldn't be enough but we managed to make do. We found this little pasty shop and for breakfast we had a coffee to share and a BEAUTIFUL TASTY! apple pie, This only cost around 4euros. When in Amsterdam we knew we didn't want to go and do anything you needed to pay for. We only went there to walk around and look at the views. For lunch we found this beautiful little cafe and we had a pizza to share, this only cost 8euros. I also picked up a post card for only 1euro. Then for dinner we spent around 10euros Mc Donalds and it was amazing!

Unfortunately I got a massive cold Saturday night and I woke up sunday very very ill so we didn't go into the city centre, I spend the day in the hotel till 12 and then we went back to the airport and waited. Although I was very very ill Sunday I had an amazing time in Amsterdam.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog post and if you are thinking you can not afford to go to Amsterdam because people tell you it costs 100s and 100s! don't listen you can always do things cheaper.
