My Trip To Iceland Day One

Hello My Lovies! I hope you are all having a great week of weekend! Now as some of you may know if you follow my Instagram Jadiee_gosh, I have been to ICELAND! and OMG! I have fallen in love. Of all the places we have visited this year Iceland has been my favourite and we plan on going back next year.  Now I was going to just do one blog post as I normly do with my trips But! I we went to sooooo many places in Iceland I have way to many photos, So I am going to do a day by day blog post. I hope you don't mind and if you would really like to see more photos sooners check out my Instagram where I have posted some photos and Videos. I really hope you enjoy this post and If you are thinking of going to Iceland DO IT.

A few things I learnt when going to Iceland are
1. It's not that cold. I mean yeah if you are from a hot country you prob will find it cold but for me being from England I honestly didn't notice the difference.
2. It really isn't that expensive, I mean yeah if you go out for every meal in a retsurante it prob will be expensive but for me and my husband we went to a pizza shop up the road from the hotel and it worked out around £20 for a two pizza's and a massive bottle of coke so same price as UK, and the coffee worked out to be £1.30 witch is cheaper than UK. So if you are on a budget on this trip it is 100% do able.
3. There is NOT Ice everywhere, now loads and loads of people get confused with this... Iceland is green and Greenland is ice. when I told a few people I was going to Iceland the first thing they said was ohhh there is going to be just ice everywhere. I already knew this was not the case and I know most people will no this but I thought I would pop it in here. Iceland is beautiful and one minute your in green lush lands and the next yeah you are in snow. The views are to die for.
4. Another things I will say if you are planning on going to Iceland be prepared for a LOT of people, you wont see it from much of my photos as I try and take the best shot without people in my photos But! there was sooo many people on the first day we went as we went out at around 12.00. My advised would be to go out in the morning when no one is around if that is possible.
Last things last people always say it super expensive to book a holiday to Iceland. I think not you can get very good deals. We booked with Easyjet and I love flying with Easyjet staff are super friendly and everything is run as it should be. The total cost of this holiday was only £600 and for me personally I think that is amazing. (I can understand some people this may be expensive) But for Iceland I think this is a wonderful deal.  Now lets get to the photos and places to travel when In Iceland.

Geysir

Here are some photos of the Geysir and we was lucky enough to see one go up but I didn't have time for a photo.

Here is the location for this Geysir

I would say it is a go see place if you are visiting Iceland. There is free parking very close by and a little shop.

Gullfoss

Now this waterfall was incredible! the photos do not do it justice it's so big.

This waterfall was only a 15 minute drive from the Geysir.

There was also free parking at this site that you parked at and then walked around 5 minutes to this spot and then you could walk all the way to where all them people are in the photos. This waterfall was packed with people.

The first day we amazing! after this we went to our hotel and we stayed at the Radisson Blue Sage linked below and I will do a review of this hotel soon on my trip adviser app. We did have an amazing stay with them.

  7. Iceland is on my bucketlist for ages now, but somehow I always decide on going somewhere else. Your pictures are so beautiful and even if you had to wait for people to move to take a shot, I think it was so worth it.
